ABOUT ME

I first developed my passion for nutrition when dancing in NYC with the Radio City Rockettes and on Broadway.  I witnessed firsthand the important role that nutrition played in performing at my best. After starting a family, my passion for nutrition only continued. I saw the impact food had on my children and husband’s wellbeing, inspiring me to take initiative and become a registered dietitian.

In addition to earning a Bachelor's degree in Communication & Psychology from the University of Michigan, I earned a Master of Science in Human Nutrition at Cal State Northridge, graduating summa cum laude.  I then completed my dietetic internship at the VA hospital in West Los Angeles.

MY PRACTICE

My experience ranges from clinical to outpatient, with past experience at USC Verdugo Hills hospital and my current position as a dietitian at Kaiser Permanente, teaching numerous nutrition classes and consulting individually with patients. Additionally, I work in the eating disorder and GI clinics weekly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and other dietitians.

Whether you struggle with an eating disorder, face challenges in digestive health, grapple with what to feed your family, need assistance with your diabetes, or battle with reaching your ideal weight, I have the tools to provide you with nutritional guidance.  Working with clients to take small steps toward positive health changes, I focus on moderation, variety, and balance. I take an integrative approach to wellness, looking at the whole person.  Instead of viewing patients as numbers and conditions on a piece of paper, I use compassion and empathy to help people find what works best for them. I truly love to help people find ways to enjoy the foods that make them feel good.
